Since the Jamaican jerk chicken wrap was such a success, I’ve decided to add it to the regular menu. Starting Wednesday, the new special will be a Buffalo chicken wrap — tender chicken breast marinated in a spicy hot secret wing sauce, served on a multigrain wrap with blue cheese and cracked pepper mayo, and cool crisp lettuce. 6.95. Enjoy!

Many congratulations to Zekes’s Coffee for winning “Best Cup of Coffee” in the City Paper’s 2007 Best of Baltimore. We’re proud to do business with Zeke’s — it’s not only the best cup of coffee, they’re a family-owned local business. The coffee won us over from the beginning, but the people behind the coffee continue to win us over every day.
Here’s to many more years of serving the best!

Yes, smoothies will be back on Thursday! I’ve also been experimenting a little with fruit and syrups…strawberry guava, anyone? Mmm.
I also have a lot of pastries and cookies — stop in for a cup of coffee and something sweet!

Thanks to everyone who came to the Pigtown Festival on Saturday and stopped by our booth. It felt so good to hear things like “You really have the best coffee in the area” or “We love that you’re here and love your little cafe.” Thanks for all the great compliments, and thanks again for stopping by the festival!
We’ll be closed Monday, as usual. Time to recover from the week’s hard work. See you Tuesday!

We will have a booth on Saturday at the Pigtown Festival, so come down and have some coffee, Italian sodas, and pastries. The festival is held in the 700-900 blocks of Washington Boulevard — come early for the pooch parade and the running of the pigs. See you then!

I’ve decided to open for a while on Monday. I have some cleaning to do and inventory to take before the Pigtown Festival, so please feel free to drop by if you’re in need of coffee, a bagel, or a sandwich! I have a new bagel flavor — cranberry apple, and if I do say…they’re pretty good. I’ll open at 9. Stop in and celebrate as I labor. :-)Labor Day - Join Me!

As most of you know, the Pigtown Festival will be on Saturday, September the 8th. Between then and now, I will be busy getting ready for the festival. What’s a Pigtown Festival without my sparkly pink pig sugar cookies?
As a result, we will be working with a limited menu in the coming week. Yes I’ll have all the coffee and espresso you can possibly drink, Italian sodas galore, and bagels upon bagels. However, I’m not doing my usual big food order this week, so if there’s something you’re really hungry for — call ahead to make sure I have it.
Thanks for your understanding, and I hope to see you at the festival!
