Good Morning!

As we quickly approach the new year, I’ve been thinking about changing the menu around a little.  Salads are gone — I’ll bring them back in the Spring when the produce is better and fresher, and there are more interesting locally grown items.  Right now it’s all about the root vegetables — great in a casserole or mashed…not so great for salads.

I did, however, make one addition (one in several I have planned).  Sitting on the counter is now a large jar of homemade granola.  Take some with you in a to-go cup, or eat it here…it’s really good.  It contains oats, coconut, spices, maple syrup, raisins, dried apples, nuts — and it’s pretty low in fat and sugar.

The sandwich special for this week is a spicy roast beef wrap.  Thinly sliced roast beef with chipotle mayo, lettuce, and homemade salsa fresca — served in a jalapeno cheddar wrap.  Comes with a small (12 oz) coffee:  $5.95.

Enjoy!
