Starting next week, we will be serving organic/fair trade coffee only. Still from Zeke’s, but better for the farmer who grew it. I’ll also offer single-origin varietals, along with blends. Stay tuned!
Oh — and one more thing, before I forget. Don’t forget the bring-your-own-travel-mug offer…it doesn’t expire. Just bring in a travel mug for coffee and you’re charged the small coffee price. You get a discount, and I get to save a cup. A small step to greening my corner of the world.

I think the travel mug promotion is a great idea… in addition to this neat idea, you can also turn this into a “fun/customer loyalty” marketing tool. What you can do is take picture of customers when they arrive (without mug), and take a photo of their mugs (alone). Have a section of wall where visitors/customers may play the guessing game (to guess what mug belongs to what customer)…. and end of week, the winners will get another cup of Evelyn’s great coffee.

LOL — funny you should mention a photo wall. Someone came in today and was telling me I should do a “Bad Tipper” wall. Not that I’d do that, since I don’t actively encourage tipping.
Great idea — once people start bringing in their mugs, I might just try your idea. I like it!
